Read the three ratios separately
Beco’s selected page advertises a 4 times drier top layer,1.8 times faster absorption and 1.5 times maximum capacity. Its footnote compares with the next best-performing training pad in laboratory testing of leading UK brands in 2026. Those are source claims under a stated context, not results produced by this site.
Keep the stated comparator
The three ratios measure different concepts and should not be combined into a single quality score. A dryness comparison is not an absolute liquid-capacity value, and a speed ratio does not publish the time a pad needs in a household setting. The reviewed body does not supply every test condition.
Do not invent the method or capacity
We have not repeated the laboratory work, identified every comparator or tested pads with an animal. Do not convert those ratios into a guaranteed number of uses, protection hours or reduced training time. No veterinary or flooring-safety approval follows from them.
Ask for the relevant evidence
If a procurement decision depends on a particular result, ask the maker for the current test method, baseline and selected-product scope. Retain the footnote rather than presenting a bare multiplied number as independent proof. The local purchase tools use counts and actual entered prices, not assumed performance ratios.
Apply the distinction to a purchase
If a supplier later provides the full 2026 report, check the exact testedproduct, baseline and method before expanding the claim. This older reference must not be edited to imply that an independent test was already performed here.
Sources & scope
Checked November 5, 2026. Manufacturer and retailer references support the specific statements. Dated displayed prices are not final checkout quotes, performance rankings or performance testing. This shopping reference does not replace the exact product label or retailer instructions. Current received labels and independent veterinary/material/content/commerce review remain pending.
