Label the status visibly
Pets N Plants’ selected 120-handle-bag page shows a sold-out label. Its£5.99 price is retained as a dated source observation, with that limitation visible. It is not represented as a currently in-stock alternative or a confirmed orderable saving.
Do not turn an add-to-cart template into stock proof
A page can contain both add-to-cart interface text and sold-out text as part of a template. Beco’s pad body also includes both. The exact Beco product endpoints returned rate-limit responses,so no numeric variant or live inventory confirmation was established. We did not retry or bypass that restriction.
Keep the exact variant question open
This means a buyer should not rely on the three-reference basket as a ready-to-pay cart. The tool can still calculate user-entered actual prices and whole packs, but it cannot reserve stock or decide availability from generic interface text.
Recheck before relying on a purchase
Before payment, check the exact selected product and current seller availability. If choosing a substitute, record its own format, count, dimensions and quote rather than retaining the old unit price. A transparent unavailable reference is more useful than inventing a live alternative that was never verified.
Apply the distinction to a purchase
The sold-out label and unverified live variant are purchase limitations, not reasons to invent another stock status. A reader can use the source differences while still needing a fresh actual availability check.
